Based on the experiences of hundreds of our own open / distance NGC students - ie students working through Chichester - we can tell you that, if you join us, you will do one of two things: either you will not reach the exam or you will take the exams and pass, occasionally with a re-sit. If you have the determination to reach the exams, and about 50% of our students do, then you will almost certainly pass. Very, very few of our students reach the exams and fail. Our tutors will give you all the support that you need, however long this takes. Our longest-standing student joined us in 2002 and eventually took the exams last year, passing two NGC units at first and then passing the third NGC unit on re-sit; not ideal, but a splendid achievement on her part.
We also run courses in conjunction with other accredited NEBOSH centres - PRandA provide the study material and the centre provides the local support. As you might guess, the pass rates are generally exceptional: for example, about a year ago, we ran a series of courses with a centre in Doncaster - 108 separate NGC examinations were taken by the students who gained a total of 107 passes and credits.
